SEVEN82MOTORS’ Christmas auction goes LIVE on 29 November

SEVEN82MOTORS are capping off 2024 with another huge auction. In total, 77 amazing cars are on offer, 30 of which have No Reserve, which means you could pick up a real bargain. Online bidding opens at 6:00PM (QLD time) on Friday, 29 November and runs through to Monday, 9 December, with closing from 6:00PM (QLD time).

With so many incredible, show quality classics, muscle cars, customs, restomods, hot rods and more up for grabs, this is the ideal opportunity to pick up a BIG Christmas present for someone special – or yourself!

Headlining this auction is the Alpha of Aussie collector cars – a genuine 1971 Ford XY Falcon GT-HO Phase III. Sold new in Queensland, this Vermillion Fire with black vinyl Phase III has been fully restored and comes with an ACCHS report and ICAARS verification.

Equally attractive, if not as desirable, are an XA Falcon GT sedan, XA Falcon RPO83 hardtop and an XB Falcon hardtop with ‘Horn Car’ accessories and decals.

For classic Ford muscle of a different type, there’s also a Mad Max Interceptor replica that comes with some unique features and very cool touches. For something different again, a Ford Zephyr Mk2 convertible is also available.

It’s not all Fords, though. Classic Holden muscle consigned for this auction includes a 1970 HG Monaro GTS 350, a genuine LX Torana SL/R 5000 A9X, LJ Torana XU1 replica, HQ Monaro GTS coupe, HDT VC Commodore (#348), an HDT VK Blue Meanie replica, HQ Monaro GTS coupe with a 355 stroker and a genuine ’75 LX Torana SS hatchback.

For offshore muscle, there are plenty of options, starting with a Dodge Challenger SRT Demon that’s super-rare in Australia. There’s also a 1-of-50 2012 Shelby GT500Super Snake 50thh Anniversary Edition and a low-km C8 Corvette Stingray 3LT convertible. If older US muscle is more your style, there are C1, C2 And C3 Corvettes on offer, as well as a tidy ’77 ‘Bandit’ Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, ’67 Camaro RS/SS, a ’67 Chevelle SS and a pair of ’71 Nova Yenko Deuce replicas. There are also two 409-powered Chevy Bel Air bubbetops on offer: one in replica NASCAR livery and the other upgraded with a 6-speed manual – both are offered with No Reserve.

If you love American pickups, you’re spoilt for choice in this auction, with no fewer than seven available, including an ’83 Chevy Silverado K10 4x4, a ’76 GMC Sierra, a ’59 Chevy Apache that’s been given the restomod treatment and a ’54 Ford F100 in RHD and also restomodded.

Something super-rare in this space is a ’63 Chev C10 panel truck that’s been customised inside and out, as well as a ’41 Ford panel delivery in project spec that’s just as rare. A ’38 International with a 540 BB V8 and faux rat rod patina is also on offer, as well as a pair of early split-window VW Kombis.

Online bidding for the SEVEN82MOTORS Christmas auction opens from 6:00PM (QLD time) on Friday, 29 November and runs through to Monday, 9 December. The close of bidding - from 6:00PM (QLD time) on the 9th - will be live streamed, kicking off at 5:30PM (QLD time). 

Registered bidders can make inspections at SEVEN82MOTORS’ Gold Coast facility (2 Palings Court, Nerang, QLD) by appointment throughout the online auction period.

The premises will be open to the public on the following days:

- Thursday 5 December from 5:00PM to 8:00PM (Thursday Late Night Shopping)

- Saturday, 7 December from 8:00AM to 2:00PM (Saturday Show Day)

In addition, SEVEN82MOTORS will be open on Monday 9 December from 9:00AM to 4:00PM (Last Minute Monday) for genuine bidders to make last-minute inspections (no public admission on this day).

On the Open Days, there’s much more to see and experience than just the cars. You can grab a hot dog, fries and a drink at Big Benny’s Diner, with the Brass Monkey Barber Shop open for haircuts and cut-throat shaves.
