The Nissan GT-R Is a name that nearly everyone knows when it comes to high-performance sports cars. The GT-R abbreviation stands for Grand Turismo-Racing and has become a global icon for the Nissan brand. The GT-R was re-introduced in 1989 as a homologation for Nissan's newly designed car to dominate Class-A racing. The car was an enormous and an immediate success with the 1989 GT-R setting a new Nurburgring record for a production car and prompted the Australian motoring publication Wheels to nickname the GT-R "Godzilla" in its July 1989 edition. A name that has stuck internationally for GT-Rs to this day.
This example is offered as part of a deceased state matter and is a 1989 Series 1 R32 GT-R “Godzilla” making it the first of the R32's and this would be factory specified in TH1 dark blue pearl with projector headlamps, climate control, active sound system and rear wiper. Despite the kilometers traveled the R32 is reasonably well presented inside and out with some wear on the drives seat and age showing on the paint. This example has extensive history documented however no books are included. The car seems to have a range of upgrades to the vehicle including a twin mushroom intakes, fuel pressure regulator, alloy radiator, rear strut brace, aftermarket Alpine Bluetooth head unit with subwoofer and amplifiers, Blitz temp and oil pressure gauges, Greddy boost controller, G-Max wheels, slotted and drilled brake rotors and more.
This is a great opportunity to get yourself into a Japanese icon that can be enjoyed immediately with GT-R's becoming one of the most collectable vehicles in the world in recent years.
