There are only 2 Brooklands-bodied Gwynnes left in the world, one here & the other in the UK. In fact, all told there only 10 roadworthy examples of all models left - including the 2 Brooklands. My car was delivered new in Adelaide and still retains its original rego number. It had a total body off restoration starting in 1969 and completed some several years later, with me purchasing it in 2003. Since then, I have kept it in the same pristine condition as when it completed its restoration. It has participated in the Bay to Birdwood Rally, and more recently in the Speed on Tweed. Sadly, at my age of 71, it is time for me to let go and give someone else the chance to enjoy the car as much as I have.
