1928 Riley Nine MkIV Tourer Vintage models of the Riley 9 have always been highly regarded and sought after. The MkIV tourer particularly so, being light, nimble and sporting in character. The car has the Special Series engine with twin SU carbs and Bluemels steering wheel. The car is in very good order with full weather equipment in serviceable order. It has recently undergone extensive work by marque specialist which has included a gearbox rebuild, differential rebuild with 4.89:1 ratio, resetting of front and rear springs with new shackles, shackle pins and bushes, respoked wheels, full steering overhaul with new king pins, bushes, steering balls and rubbers, complete brake rebuild and a full engine tune and re-soldering of the oil lines with a rebuilt pump. Easy 90 km/hr highway cruising. There is ownership history dating back to 1963. As with any Riley 9 there is good availability of spares and technical advice if you need them.
