1929 Chevrolet AC International Tourer. Reluctant sale of this fabulous old car in wonderful condition. Older full restoration prior to my ownership and remains in excellent working order with nothing left to spend. I’ve owned the car for close to 10 years and have travelled only a few hundred kms but I simply don’t have time to enjoy all of my fabulous cars and I’ve made the decision to part with this beauty. During my ownership it’s had a full engine rebuild; radiator reconditioned; new sealed bearing water pump; new rims, tyres & wheel studs; new windscreen and surround plus interior trim and hood (with side curtains) replaced by Adelaide’s premier vintage motor trimmer. Easily cruisers at 60-80kph, loads of torque from the 6 cylinder engine, 4 wheel brakes (well ahead of their time back then), reliable 6 volt start, side curtains. Probably one of the most original cars still around, it’s ideal for a country drive with the family now the nice weather is approaching. Absolutely the classic vintage car look with black guards & vinyl roof, white body and wooden spoke wheels in perfect condition. A brilliant example of 1920’s motoring history and a reminder just how simple the world once was with no central locking, no cruise control, no radio and no Bluetooth phone connection to drive you crazy!, Speedo currently reading 12,800 miles.
