This stunning all steel 1929 Closed Cab Ford Pick-up was completed in 2016 and has only travelled 4296 kilometrres since that time. This beautiful street rod is built to a very high standard with the underside fully detailed and all components new or reconditioned. The performance engine is a 351 Ford Windsor built by Nev Dowling and it is coupled to a manualised C6 automatic transmission with a 2200 rpm stall convertor putting power through to an 8 & 3/4 inch drum brake Mustang diff. The rear end is four bar linked with adjustable coil overs while the front axle incorporates EB Falcon disc rotors and VB Commodore calipers and is mounted to a tranverse leaf spring and steered via a Datsun 200B steering box coupled to an alloy Lokar Industries steering column. The Walker radiator is copper. The black leather interior is the work of Wayne Evans. The American Racing wheels are 15 inch with 255/70 R15 rear tyres and 165/60 R15 fronts. The steel exhaust is a 2 & 1/4 inch twin system with Turbo mufflers. SoCal gauges set the all steel dash off niclely while the MP3 sound system has two speakers and the ignition wiring has an incorporated kill switch. The hardwood timber in the rear tray is solid Ironbark and the accent strips are stainless steel. The front screen hinges outwards and can be tightened in any position to cool the occupants on those hot Summer days and nights. The wipers are single speed electric. The gorgeous paint work is real quality and is solid colour PPG 2 pack. This street rod is LH10 Qld compliant and currently registered.
