This 1929 Oakland sedan delivery is a phantom body style and a truly one of a kind piece of rolling nostalgia. It has had extensive history in the Australian car club scene over many decades. The current owners interests have changed so it is time to let someone else be the custodian of this piece of history. Many of the original features of the vehicle have been retained while many other features have been replaced or modified for the sake of safety, comfort, reliability, performance and drive-ability. This car is regularly driven and is reliable. It is on full Qld registration and has been engineered with appropriate Modification codes. A brand new power steering system has just been installed. This piece of automotive art is powered by a Small block Chev 350 with a Turbo 400 transmission and 9 inch Ford diff. The transmission is selected with a Lokar shifter. The front brakes are Leyland P76 disc. The Dragway wheels are 17 inch front and rear. The engine is fed fuel by a 750 Holley and the instruments are all Autometer. The sound system consists of a Kenwood head unit with speaker pods in each door and a amp and sub-woofer pump out the base. The car is fitted with a solid tow bar.
