Front brakes are a ‘So-Cal’ hot rod front brake system that features Buick style finned drums that conceal ‘Willwood’ hubs, rotors and callipers. Rear end is an 8” Ford unit with drum brakes, transverse spring and ’36 Ford radius rods. Rolling stock consists of ‘Wheel Vintiques’ Street Rod Wires with trims and caps, wrapped in period conventional tyres. Steel cycle style guards feature easily removed brackets for event use etc. The exterior paint is ‘PPG Red Oxide’ basecoat with ‘PPG’ 2K satin clearcoat for a hard wearing and easy to maintain finish. The chassis and guards are satin black 2K. A steel ‘Rootlieb’ four-piece original style bonnet covers the engine and chequered firewall. A full chrome original style grille is flanked by ’34 Ford commercial headlights. Windscreen frame is a chrome ‘Red Fox’ item. Interior features custom alloy trim panels with a full louvered headliner, bucket seats, ‘Genie’ shifter ‘VDO’ gauges and banjo style steering wheel.
