Seller's Description
Selling my 1936 Plymouth 4dr Sedan Rat Rod project.
The roof has been chopped 3” and filled in; including all doors and window surrounds. The floor has some good patchwork done and an LPG tank is mounted in the boot.
Under the hood, it has a Chrysler 383 big block with sheet metal tunnel ram, block huggers and a rear hump sump. Behind it is a 727 torqueflight with reverse pattern manual shift kit. The diff is a Ford 8”. It has a HR front end and HQ breaks and Valiant steering column and steering wheel.
Comes with all panels, minus running boards. Also comes with spare doors, bonnet and dash, Valiant seats and some other bits and pieces.
Note that this is a full project. Everything needs work. It could be put on the road pretty swiftly for a hot rod project though, as the chassis only needs minor touch ups. As far as I’m aware, the motor just has a stuck valve and the transmission was rebuilt before going in, so those could be restored pretty easily. The diff probably needs a recondition, if not swapped for a 9” to handle the big block. The front end is an easy bolt-in job and could either be reconditioned or swapped out. There is no interior to speak of, save for some Valiant front seats. There is minimal rust of the body; mostly just surface rust. Panel replacements shouldn’t be necessary; minor/basic panel beating at the most.
Selling for genuine reasons. Located in the Canberra/Queenbeyan region.
