1937 DODGE D5 BUSINESS COUPE-2 DOOR--RARE VEHICLE ALL Steel Body Business Coupe This car is in its original form and very solid rust free body. In the front has a new split-grille and chrome throughout. Standard equipment included all-steel disc-type wheels, 'No-Draft' ventilation, hydraulic brakes, Autolite ignition, 16-gallon fuel tanks, dual taillights. Power is from a six-cylinder engine displaced 218 cubic-inches and breathed through a single barrel carburettor that helped it produce nearly 90 horsepower. The engine is mated to a three-speed sliding gear floor manual transmission . The Interior has been redone and all the period proper instrumentation is in tact and works. This is an unmolested vehicle that suits someone who wants to enjoy this art Deco style of cruising or may want to Hot rod ( although I wouldn’t if I was to keep it) This business coupe was one of 47,702 produced in 1937 and there are not too many non-modified versions.
