New wheel bearings fitted. Reconditioned gearbox with new bearings. Reconditioned steering box with new seals and bearings. New alternator fitted. Rebuilt 12-volt starter motor fitted. Stainless steel exhaust. Direction indicators have been fitted to vehicle. Car was repainted in a very pleasing shade of green. New door and window rubbers have been fitted. Seat belts in front seat. Dodge was a cut above cars such as Plymouth and Chevrolet, and the slogan “Dodge Dependability” was well known. This is a very comfortable touring car, a joy to drive and own, and features a rear-seat centre folding armrest and front door armrests, as well as footrests for rear-seat passengers, and a scuttle-mounted fresh-air ventilator. The car is on “full” New South Wales registration and runs very well. The Dodge comes with a workshop manual and handbook, and even has a tow bar with ball and cover. It would make an excellent wedding car and a great club car for someone to get straight in and enjoy, so experience pre-war craftsmanship.
