We call her Celeste. She's actually a 1949 British Slough assembled Citroen Light 15. Celeste was given a very sympathetic renovation in 1987, mechanically with receipts to show motor, gearbox, suspension and brakes were all overhauled. The interior is in excellent condition with Maroon Connelly hide seats, wood dash and door trims - the hood lining and carpets are in perfect condition showing no sign of wear over that time. Her original black paintwork does still have a glow and patina of much polishing over her 69 years. Celeste is an original with all the correct features of a 1949 Traction Avant. She features a sunroof as it came from the factory and side window wind deflectors. New Michelin radials have been fitted recently. This car has been on Club Permit (not transferable) from 1987 with the Citroen Classic Car Club of Australia.
