Seller's Description
1950 Morris Minor Lowlight Convertible This is a factory convertible located in Coledale NSW. It was crated over from England in 1949 and assembled in the Morris factory at Joynton Avenue in Zetland NSW. It was first registered in 1950. I have owned this car for 12 years and always garaged it. It is a good solid car with no structural rust and is in good condition. There is some rust on the left side of the boot lid which will need attention see photo. On full NSW registration, which means it is safety tested each year. The car is very original with modifications including a brake booster, radial tyres & inertia seatbelts to front passengers and sash lap to the rear. It also runs on unleaded petrol. It has a heater fitted and water pump, which is rare for this model, and has flashers fitted which are mounted on stainless steel brackets that can be removed. The semaphore indicators also work. There is a slight oil leak from the engine rear seal. It has passed the NSW rego check on 1/8/2019. The body was sprayed as a shell when it was restored. the paint is generally good but has a few cracks on the bonnet and boot.
