1956 Chevrolet 210 Delray 2-door Post Coupe powered by a 5.7L 350cui V8 GM Chev small block engine and driven by a THM700R4 4-spd column-shift automatic transmission w/ overdrive. This is a 2nd generation Chev 210 post coupe, and the Delray was essentially an interior option package for the otherwise plain 210 two door sedan. It featured an upgraded vinyl upholstery with 'waffle-like' pleating, color-keyed to the exterior, along with carpeting and other minor upgrades. There are a lot of Belair's around, but not many of these rarer 2-dr Delray coupes. This Delray has had a ground-up restoration starting with the original paint color. There was some rust showing in the rear quarter which has been cut out and repaired correctly. It has a rebuilt 1968 Chev 5.7L 350cui 4-bolt main engine with new 202 heads and a mid 80's 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission fitted. The rear end has been completely overhauled with lowering blocks, and the front suspension features dropped spindles with power assisted disc brakes. The body and paint are of excellent quality and workmanship, and it also features new glass, rubber, grill, head lights and tail lights. All the stainless trims and bumper bars are original and now re-polished. The interior has been re-upholstered to Delray correct trim specifications. The car also features all new electronic classic gauges and wiring. The car has only travelled approx 200 miles since its restoration. This is a rare and well restored car with nothing to spend.
