LHD Powerglide 2 speed automatic. 1958 Chevrolet Belair 4Door Sedan. Very Regretful sale. The car is fully registered in Victoria but will be sold with no RWC and minus my Custom Plates...as it is currently registered it should be very easy to change it over to your name and put your own Custom plates on the vehicle. This beautiful 1958 Chevrolet Belair is in great original shape and good condition. Finished in mostly original Coral Cay (Pink/ Salmon) Chrome & Chrome Rims All chrome is in place on the car and no missing pieces anywhere (including inside the car) The amount of chrome is astounding and has a deep sheen with the usual basic pitting for the age of the vehicle. Chrome Cragar rims with brand new Thin White Wall tyres that have done around 200 kms only. Later model spinner caps included. Interior The inside of the Belair is very original including original seat covers (with some small imperfections fixable tears on drivers side seat). Door panels are terrifc with 1 small imperfection on drivers door base. Once again fixable. The seats, the carpet (replaced in the 2000's) the door panels and the dashboard in excellent overall condition. Original headliner with 1 small tear on passenger front corner. And looks like it would have rolled off the line yesterday ! Stereo system installed in dash with 2 x under-dash speakers installed. (stereo has jack for iphone connection and USB interface for charging. Everything works on this car including window winders/ quarter windows and locks etc New petrol sender unit but will electric check on the accuracy to the drivers fuel gauge Please note interior cabin heater does not work as it has been disconnected due to a small leak in the heater radiator- easy fix but I dont use it so I left it disconnected and safely tapped in the engine bay. Motor & Drivetrain The Belair is powered by a 4.6 litre V8 SBC (283) with quad barrel Edelbrock Carbs and with an automatic gearbox that shifts very smoothly. The car purrs like a Kitten and has new points, plugs and condensor points. Original 2 speed automatic transmission New Alternator installed. New Battery installed Front end Rubbers all replaced recently with only a few hundred kms under the bridge since installed. Brake system Single reservoir original Drum brake system with all new lines to each wheel and renovated original drum brake system new brake kits for each wheel incl cylinders/ hoses/ shoes/ etc Glass/ Windscreen Brand new $1000 windscreen with no chips/ scratches or sand pitting anywhere.
