1959 ford edsel corsair convertible

Rare/hard to find 1959 Edsel corsair convertible project/parts car, was previously purchased from a 80 year old gentleman who had owned this car for many years, this was a lifelong dream of his to restore this car and enjoy it one day, unfortunately bad health/sickness ended his dream, with that said we are listing this car as an unfinished restoration project/parts car, the vin plate has been misplaced (can purchase new ) during disassembly however we did find where he wrote down this information from the original tag vin# - w9ur730852 model - 76e date - 25c colour - ee trans - 4 trim - 44 axle - 5 have full import papers for this vehicle. (left hand drive) from what we can see, there are 2 front bumpers but no rear. No seats, no instrument cluster, the motor and trans is out of the car - the motor is disassembled but seems to be all there. There are 2 driveshafts and there is doubles of some pieces of chrome. The convertible top frame seems to be in good condition, the main convertible section around the back of the seat is in good condition with no rust. The boot floor is good, it will need inner rear quarter panels behind the rear wheels and someone has done a poor repair job on the front floors and some of those will need to be replaced. This car is also advertised elsewhere so may be withdrawn from sale at any time. This car was listed a few years ago and we received a deposit on it but the purchaser couldn’t come up with the rest of the money so we took it off the market. We have decided to relist it as its too rare a car to just sit in storage when it could be enjoyed by someone else that has time to restore it. I will ignore and delete any stupid offers. If you think you can get another one cheaper go for it. With the shipping costs - this makes it a cheap car.
