1961 jaguar mk ii saloon

This 1961 Mk2 Jaguar 3.8l Auto with matching engine & chassis numbers was in immaculate condition and running fine at the time it suffered a fire incident (engine had done 54,000 miles). The perfect start of a classic Mk2 Jaguar restoration project or acquired as a hot-spare (half a Mk2 jag worth of parts!) for your own Mk2. As the pictures show..- there are no windows or interior, but the body is solid.- Essentially the bottom half of the car is good. It has a 3.8l Engine (not seized/turns manually), the original DG auto transmission, manifolds & exhaust system, diff, axles, wheels & brakes and steering system. Boot interior is good & fuel tank is intact. Most of the exterior chrome trim is there including front & rear bumper bars with overriders, door handles, tail lights, front headlights, foglights & indicator lights. Whilst the fire destroyed the interior woodwork and seat upholstery, the seat frames have been retained and are inside the vehicle. Note: A custom aircon system was fitted to this vehicle, so compressor mounting brackets are still on the engine (but no aircon or compressor). Engine No: KG2277-7; Chassis No: 150854.
