In all, just 10,009 examples were produced from March 1962 until April 1963. This 1962 Valiant S Series has been the subject of a full restoration in its original Berger Light Blue exterior with a very smart looking blue and silver interior sporting the almost obligatory Venetian blind sunshade in the rear window and all the original appointments. The Valiant S Series had the 225ci Slant Six that was a big step forward for Australian assembled cars in the early 1960s.
