I’ve had this car for 16 years, previously owned by my Dad, who bought it from the first owner around 25 years ago. Like lots of fellas, his first cars were Zephyrs and Zodiacs, so he got to relive his youth for a bit. Selling it wasn’t an easy decision to make, and there is a lot of sentiment involved with it, but I’ve been thinking about it for a couple of years, and I know it’s the right decision for the Zodiac. I’ve come to the realisation that I won’t be able to do all the things it deserves to have done for it. And I really don’t want it to sit around gathering dust and rust, I’d rather pass it on to someone who can do it justice. Someone with the skills to give her body the attention it needs. Some of the things I’ve had done to her… -The suspension overhauled around 6 or 7 years ago -Reconditioned starter motor, generator, and brake booster -As new white walls from Antique Tyres More info… -Manufactured in England, she was exported to Tasmania, and my Dad drove her to me in SA. She is from the last run of the Mark II’s and is a little bit special. She has some unique extras and differences, like the double hood ornament. Aside from special orders, I’ve been told that it wasn’t unusual for the last run of a series to end up with extra and different add-ons, from spare stock. -She starts first crank, purrs like a kitten, and is a very smooth ride. -The seats are in decent shape, although there is a little damage to the upholstery that needs repair. -The body is pretty straight but it does have rust popping up in the usual spots -39,591 miles on the odometer -Recently serviced -Registered in SA (expired yesterday, but I’m happy renew) She is a driver ready to be enjoyed, but she’s also ready for her next chapter.
