1964 Chrysler Newport 4 door pillarless 9 seater wagon. LHD. The original factory 361 c.i engine and 727 torque flight push button auto starts, runs and shifts excellent. Very rare car in the USA and even rarer in Australia. I believe it to be the only example of this year and model registered and driving in Australia. Beautiful fully restored interior (seats, carpet, door panels, hood lining, dash etc) Brand new chrome and extensive body and mechanical work was done during its four year restoration and since finished has won up to a dozen trophies. Exterior paint is good and shows well along with detailed engine bay. Air con is in good working order but is not super cold so I have included a brand new NOS air con compressor, dryer and T/X valve to go with the sale along with a complete brand new set of hoses and belts. It also has a brand new battery fitted two weeks ago. The personalized number plates ( CYR64 ) will also go with the sale if sold in Queensland. The unique, genuine 17 inch Boyd Cottington mags are in excellent condition with good 235 /50 tyres and near full tread.
