I purchased this gem of a Fiat 14 years ago from Tasmania where it was sold new. It was the previous owner's only mode of transport and it was totally reliable. The "MilleCinqueCento" is a true 60's classic with practicality, comfort and performance. The Fiat 1500 MK2 is in exceptional condition. In recent years it has had a full brake refurbishment with new disk caliper cylinders, rear wheel cylinders, new brake hoses, upgraded to a Fiat twin cylinder for safety. It also has a new clutch master and slave cylinder. New front shock absorbers. Recently the cylinder head was reconditioned. Tyres are as new. It starts first time and drives faultlessly. The engine is excellent. The headlights have been converted to Hella halogen units which look original but enable safe night time driving, unlike the originals . The original AWA radio is still fitted from new (Tas). It has had a full repaint in the original Fiat Blue and looks stunning and totally authentic. The interior is in contrasting red, very good condition and entirely original. Yes you can pay less for a car that is "ordinary" and/or requiring significant money to be spent or you can buy one of the finest examples of a Fiat 1500 available. It's the right model, the best colour combination and in excellent condition.
