Produced from 1965-1966, the XP became the first Falcon to sell more than 70,000 units during its production life. This car was initially inherited by a family member and then sold to its current owner who has done a multitude of work to the vehicle. The XP has an upgraded pre crossflow 250 inline 6 cylinder engine out of an XB Falcon with a Borg Warner 3 speed automatic transmission to match and a Borg Warner diff. In the last two years of ownership, the XP saw a radiator flush, new thermostat, new water pump, new brake cylinders, new front arm bushes, new exhaust and muffler, new tail light lenses, new battery and cables, and the electricals have been cleaned up. It runs disc brakes and comes with a rear louver and an axis radio. The car is tidy for its age but certainly not new at 59 years old.
