The Good: This is a Californian built car with excellent floor and sheet metal. The 289 Windsor motor has been replaced with a freshly modified 302 Windsor motor coupled to a C4 Auto Transmission and Holley 4 Barrel Carburettor. It was recently serviced and fitted with a new 302 performance chrome Air Cleaner. It has a new Oil sender unit and Bronze extension for easier maintenance and service. All the gauges work and are 100% accurate. It is fitted with Power Steering and immaculate Deluxe Red Pony Trim. It has the factory GT sports wheels and hard to get and very expensive factory GT Wood steering wheel. A brand-new set of White wall tyres were recently fitted as well as a pair of rear Chrome exhaust tips. All the steering components are in good condition with most having been replaced over the past few years or so. Everything works as it should on this car. The road handling is good and drives extremely well. Currently on non-transferable club registration. If you drove it, you would be impressed. It comes with an owner’s operating manual. All you need to do is hop in and drive it to the next club cruise or Coffee and Chrome event. The Not So Good: Originally the car was Wimbledon White and at some stage of it’s 57 year life it was colour changed to Black. At 8 to 10 feet the car looks incredible, but at a much closer inspection you will see that it could do with new paint to get it back to 100%.
