THE CAR Manufactured at the Ford Motor Company factory in Broadmeadows, Victoria, this absolutely stunning 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT was sold new by Metropolitan Motors in Eagle Farm, Queensland on Monday the 8th of January in 1968. Finished in her correct GT Gold paint, she sports a Charcoal Grey trim and according to a Deluxe ACCHS Report (Heritage Certificate) is one of only 670 with this paint and trim combination. A three-owner car, it has been under current ownership for six years. During this time the engine has been professionally rebuilt to the car’s original, high standard. The car has also been treated to a new windscreen, a new 3-core radiator to original spec, a new brake booster, clutch master cylinder, a new clutch and slave cylinder. All parts used were OEM when available. The stainless steel has been professionally polished and all gauges work. This XR GT retains her original 4-speed top loader gearbox, limited-slip differential, Autolite carburettor and button-top Carter fuel pump. The seats, door cards, dash, headlining and front disc brakes are all original as well. During the past 25 years, this car has only travelled an approximate 2,000 miles.
