V8. Only 15,528 of these were built in the US with only a handful making their way to Australia. This one was purchased by me in San Diego, Southern California, and shipped home in 2011. It is a car with enormous potential. It is an automatic (3 speed trimatic) and comes with the original 2 speed box. The soft top is electrically operated and is in great condition. The seats and trim show signs of wear but overall are in reasonable condition. The paint work, however, is fairly poor and there is a dent on the top of the right rear panel. (can be seen in the photos). There are no signs of rust (very rare for a convertible of this age) and it has been kept under cover since I’ve owned it. This car turns heads whenever I take it out. It is great fun and draws a lot of attention. My intention always was to fully restore this car, but changing circumstances have meant that it has to go. Currently there are no ‘67 Firebirds on offer in Australia let alone a convertible, so this is rare opportunity to purchase a classic American Muscle Car that will only get more valuable over time.
