Seller's Description
1968 Triumph Bonneville, matching numbers. It's in original condition except for the tank which has been sprayed and a complete new silencer system. It's been sitting around for a while because of an electrical problem which has now been rectified with a new wiring harness and a new gel battery. The tyres are in good condition, the rear (Dunlop) rim is in excellent condition. The front (Jones) isn't as good, it has a bit of corrosion here and there but it's not too unsightly. The petrol tank has been sprayed but there's a bit of blistering under the paint near the filler cap. I've changed all the oils, checked the timing, cleaned out the carburettors, reset the valve clearances. It now starts easily and runs well. I can see no obvious reason why it shouldn’t pass a roadworthy, but because it hasn't been used for a long time I would recommend checking it over first.
