Up for sale is my 1969 Ford ZB Fairlane, the car is an absolute pleasure to drive and extremely reliable. No expense has been spared and the car has no mechanical or issues offering hassle free enjoyable cruising for years to come. The current car configuration has been carefully and tastefully changed with each modification and change being meticulously selected ensuing enjoyability, reliability as well as not changing the overall appearance keeping it period to the era produced giving it the perfect balance between muscle car and extremely reliable cruiser. *Engine* Cleveland stoked to 408ci, it’s been fully rebuilt from top to bottom using only top-quality high-end gear with no short-cuts taken, receipts and photos to accompany sale of vehicle. Engine has done less than 5,00km. The bottom end is a Scatt stroker kit comprising of a high nodular crank, I-beam forged conrods and +20tho SRP forged pistons, rings are chrome moly & have been professional gapped, the bottom end has been balanced from harmonic balancer to flexplace by Chris Milton Engine Developments. All fasteners within the motor have been replaced with ARP keeping everything tight and in place for years to come. A high-volume oil pump and High-Energy baffled deep sump keep the engine well lubricated. Camshaft is a Comp Cams Extreme Energy XE284, complimenting the cam is a set of roller rockers and anti pump-up lifters, all valve train components from cam to roller are Comp Cams and as recommend by the manufacture. Top end of the motor is running fully rebuilt closed chamber 64cc 2V cast heads, heads have been professional ported by Chris Milton Engines and flow well in excess of 500hp, heads are also set-up with full ComCams components. Engine has been built and components chosen carefully providing hassle free motoring, longevity and reliably for years to come. *Fuel/Intake* Holley 750cmf HP series mechanical secondary carburetor which is perfectly matched and mounted to an Edelbrock air-gap intake manifold. Fuel pump is an electric Holley Blue which has been correctly positioned and mounted. *Ignition* MSD everything from the distributor through to spark plug leads and plugs, the system is complimented by a 6AL2 digital ignition control module providing precise and improved ignition. *Charging/Electrical* A new 140A internal regulator alternator provides ample volts/amps as well as keep the battery charged at all time. *Cooling System* Milidon hi-volume water pump and thermostat, the radiator is a triple pass aluminum America made, on the radiator is a single extremely large thermo fan mounted within a molded shroud which completes the cooling system keeping it at perfect temperature all year round no mater what the weather. *Exhaust* Twin 2.5” system from front to back, engine is fitted with Pacemaker 4 into 1 extractors that have been ceramic coated. *Gearbox* C4 and is fitted with a 2800 rpm stall converter, transmission has an improved shift kit and in addition it has a TrickFlow aluminum deep finned transmission pan, behind grille is transmission cooler with fan keeping everything cool and reliable. The shifter has been tastefully installed and changed to a B&M quicksilver complimenting the interior. *Rear axle* Differential has been changed to disc brake and sourced from a XG-XH ute, the housing has been professionally shortened to standard width and is running new axels cut and re-splined to accommodate 28 spline center. Differential is a 28 spline LSD that has been reconditioned and is running 3.23:1 ratio providing the perfect balance between the output of the engine and drivability. All differential work carried out by Boss Automotive. *Tailshaft* High-performance thick-walled version made by Hardi Spicer, tailshaft has been calculated and overengineered proving longevity and hassle-free motoring. *Front Brakes* Brakes have been upgraded to later model rotors and calipers as used on XE falcon, rotors are DBA slotted with Bendix pads. *Rear Brakes* Brakes have been upgraded to later model rotors and calipers as used on XG-XH falcon ute, rotors are DBA slotted with Bendix pads. *Suspension/Steering* Bushes front and back have been replaced with Nolathane. Shocks on all 4 corners are Pedder’s large bore GSR. Springs are lowered from memory approx. 1.5”, the front springs are Kings branded and the rear leaf’s have been re-packed and re-set. Suspensions is firm yet comfortable when cruising with no body roll when cornering /driving through the hills. There is no scraping or interferences with the steering or suspension. Steering is power assisted running a new pump from a later model ford, providing great feedback whilst driving and effortless steering when parking. *Interior/Trim* The original gauge cluster has been replaced with highly accurate American made electronic digital gauges inc. speedo, tacho, fuel, temp, oil pressure and amps all contained within original frame and location, complementing the new gauges are new dash facias (timber grain) sections. Front seats are buckets and very comfy, rears are standard Fairlane and all have been re-trimmed in black vinyl which is unmarked and present like new. Carpet including boot have been replaced with molded black loop, in additional car has new sound absorbing/heat resisting underlay complimenting the interiors appearance and comfort levels. New inertia seat belts fitted to front to car while new lap-sash have been installed in the rear. Door trims have all been replaced and are like new and in immaculate condition. Front kick panels have been replaced with brand new items matching the interior. A Kenwood CD/MP3/Radio has been fitted to the dash along with rear Kenwood speakers. *Wheels/Tyres* The rims are BOSS Motorsport 338 imported from the USA, fronts are 18x8 fitted with 245x40x18, the rears are 18x10 and fitted with 275x35x18” these wheels attract a lot of attention and tastefully complimenting the car and period look. *Exterior/Chrome* Front and rear bumper bars have been replaced with brand new items, in addition new gutter molds have been fitted as well as both sets of headlights have also been upgraded and replaced, all remaining moldings and chrome work are original and in excellent condition. ZB Fairlane’s are becoming rare these days in any condition, cars in this condition and with this level of quality improvements are becoming hard to find, the car is liked by many and draws a lot of interest when out and about with comments complimenting its condition, presence and sound. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and extremely reliable. No expense has been spared and the car has no mechanical or any other issues offering hassle free enjoyable cruising for years to come.
