Selling my 1969 Ford LTD Coupe. (The up market version of the Galaxie) Purchased in Lakeland Florida in 2014 as a one owner car with 20375 miles from new. I changed belts, hoses, fluids and then drove from Florida to New York, then across to San Fransisco and then down to San Diego with a return up to L.A. a journey of over 5000 miles, ran perfectly and never used a drop of oil or got hot even in 40 deg C. heat . Entered all Ford day 2015 and won best elite Ford out of over 800 cars. Factory air, (blows nice and cold) power steer, disc brakes, power bench seat and rare hidden headlight option that works perfectly. 390 cu. inch, C6 trans, 9" diff, bullet proof drive train. Original radio (works fine), even the clock works. The original spare tyre has never been on the car. Car had under body rust proofing from new and I fish oiled everything when it arrived here. Vinyl roof is excellent with no rust bubbles. No rust under doors, sills quarters, any inspection welcome. Only changes from standard are 2.5 inch muffler and tailpipe and replaced 6" factory rims with eights to fill out the guards. Just replaced all four coil springs, shocks and front end control arm bushes. Drives brilliantly and if need be, you could drive from Melbourne to Brisbane tomorrow without a worry. Super cool looking car, always gets a lot of attention. Currently insured for 54k. Now shows just under 31000 miles, has always been garaged under a car cover and serviced with Penrite every 12 months. The cost of finding a car in the U.S. in this condition with this mileage and importing it would be way over what I'm asking. On club permit, not transferrable, sold as is.
