1969 holden monaro ht gts coupe

For sale is a meticulously restored 1969 HT GTS Monaro. It has a factory fitted 10 bolt Chevrolet Salisbury rear end with limited slip diff as used in 81837 models and a dealer fitted Webesco sunroof. The Monaro is a local Canberra car and has had 5 owners. The latest version of the car took three years to do a ground-up rebuild with no expense spared and no corners cut. The car has been restored to its original colour of Sebring Orange and when inside the car you immediately feel the awe by being hugged by the recaro seats installed by a previous owner in 1982. The dash has also seen a full treatment makeover. This Monaro started life in August 1969 with a 253 V8 mated to a 4 speed Saginaw gearbox. A previous owner had the 253 swapped with a small block 350, which is currently what is in the car. In the rebuild of the 350 motor, the following were added: - Forged Pistons - Double row timing chain - Comp cams set with Rolon chain - Yella terra rockers - Melling high volume oil pump - ART pacemakers - Edelbrook Torker II manifold - Fitech fuel Injection System - Ported heads at 47mm(T) by 37mm(W) - And pulling the power house up is a KTG Booster & Master cylinder Included in the purchase of the car is a low-numbered 253 block ready for someone to restore should they choose as well as paperwork that could be tracked won and a 280 page write up of the rebuild with photos.
