Famous as one of the Ford factory works GTHOs built to defend the '71 victory, and with Moffat setting a new lap record of 2:36.5 to sit on pole for the start of the 1972 Bathurst Hardie Ferodo 500.This gorgeous tribute is running a professionally built 380hp 351 Cleveland, 4 speed top loader and 9" 3.25 LSD with 31 spline axles. Has appeared at the 2009 Muscle Car Masters and was the winner of Summernats Street 1st prize. The engine is a 351 Cleveland, 2V heads with 4V valves, 4MA crank, fully balanced, GTHO sump, Crow cam, Scorcher twin point dizzy, 750 Holley, twin 3" exhaust with 4 into 1 extractors with side exhaust and 55 amp alternator. Transmission is an XY 4 speed top loader, with GT tailshaft, 3.25 ratio 9 inch with lsd, 31 spline Moser solid billet axles and GTHO finned drums. 4V heads come with the car. A GTHO vacuum tank and brake booster are fitted along with genuine 6 leaf GTHO rear springs, Koni adjustable shockers, GTHO front top control arms and 16.1 ratio steering box. As new black GT interior and GT dash. 6 point CAMS roll cage with side intrusion bars and CAMS roll cage papers. Fitted with '72 stamped 15x7 Bathurst Globes and a correct 36 gallon fuel tank. No rear boot mounted spoiler or front chin spoiler as per the spec of the '72 race cars.The car is ready to race, get out and do some track days or just turn loads of heads on the street as you cruise down to the local shops for a beer or a coffee.
