Seller's Description
The Rambler Hornet was built in Australia by Australian Motor Corporation (AMI) for the American Motors Corporation (AMC). Australian models were sold as luxury vehicles, with high levels of trim and factory fitted accessories for the time. This example is in good overall condition and presents well. The bright red paint is shiny, with only a few small areas needing attention. The interior is also neat and in good condition, with just the driver’s seat having a few small splits. Mechanically the 4.2 Litre engine runs very well and the engine bay is tidy and presentable. It is fitted with a set of period jelly bean mag wheels and good tyres. Selling in low number (1,825) in comparison to Fords and Holden’s of the time, these are a rare sight and offer something a little different. A unique collectable investment that will turn heads.
