Built in December 1973, this older restoration E48 Charger (approx late 1980's early 1990's) is a great example of one of the earlier 70's super cars.
These Valiant 6 pack Chargers during their day were the fastest naturally aspirated 6 cylinder in the world. (E49 Variant) They held this mantle for many years until Ferrari built a 6 cylinder that was capable of overtaking the might of our Australian muscle. This took many years. These Chargers hammered!!!
Option E48 - Street tuned (lesser brother of the E49 Charger) "Six Pack" 265ci engine with Triple Weber DCOE 53 & 54 carburettors.
I own a 1973 LJ Bathurst XU1. This E48 makes it look second rate in a straight line. I was amazed (and still am) at how much pull these Chargers have. Talk about torque............

The only non-factory modification I have made to this vehicle was to fit a twin exhaust.
From memory there were only 166 of the E48 options built including all variants such as the 770 and XL models. This is one of the base model variants which makes this car one of 122 of the base models produced.
Having owned this car for several years she unfortunately has to go due to a new addition to the family and associated expenses moving forward.
