Excellent condition, very appealing car. A lot of money spent here and it shows, presents beautifully and sounds awesome. New ignition, door and boot locks. Have been added. A complete GTR interior has been installed; including new door-trims, re-trimmed front and rear seats, refurbished dash-pad, centre console, instrument cluster (with new loom), parcel shelf, original seatbelts, ‘Torana’ stereo, GTR shifter with new linkages, new carpet and fire-proof underlay, kick panels, interior hood release (XU1 option) and a genuine new-old stock (not Rare Spares) GTR steering wheel. All sprint-masters are now original 1973 mag wheels, with Yokohama 509’s all round (including spare with XU1 wheel clamp). Brakes have been upgraded – new XU1-spec front rotors (new wheel studs) with rebuilt callipers, XU1 brake booster, and a reconditioned original master cylinder have been added – along with new-old stock rear brake drums/ brake pads. Powder coated front end including K-frame, lower and upper arms (which have been reinforced as per XU1-specifications). The vehicle has been professionally lowered with adjustable KONI shock absorbers, Lovell’s springs, and nolathane bushes have been added to the front and rear end. New tie rods ends and ball joints have been installed. New steering rack. Completely restored steering column with new old stock indicator loom. Rod Hadfield Hydraulic clutch kit installed. Reconditioned brake pedal assembly, with provision for Commodore cable assembly made. Motor built by Cave Hill engines around a JL block (genuine GTR block). Built warmer than Bathurst 73 specs, it was built to compete in the Group NC class. Xu1 cam and Starfire Rods, external oil pickup. Custom rack sump and pick-up, oil pump, new old stock water pump, Yella Terra 6.2 kg lightened flywheel, Romac harmonic balancer, pushrods, head stud bolts, genuine new old stock lower thermostat housing, new GMH rocker cover, new clutch plate, and new old stock genuine HDT roller rockers. 45mm Webers rebuilt with new linkages. A professionally made extractor system, which has been HPC coated, along with a three-piece manifold. Complete stainless 2.5 exhaust with dump pipe. Holley Blue electric fuel pump, Pro Comp fuel filter. Single core alloy race radiator installed, with twin Davies Craig thermo fans. New Bosch starter motor and distributor. New electronic distributor and ignition. Refurbished heater unit with new old stock heater system added. Original XU1 locking cap has been added. Reconditioned petrol tank and sender installed. Battery has been relocated to the boot. A new old stock grill (professionally repainted black centre) and GTR badge added. Electric Autometer gauges Genuine XU1 fuel tank, genuine locking fuel cap
