1974 ford fairlane zg 500 sedan

This is a 1974 FORD ZG FAIRLANE 500. Regrettably, I am selling my ZG to the person who offers me the appropriate price!!! This vehicle was a completed project some years ago but has regressed into a further project due to my desire to do something different. The car has: *Very little rust ( small patches at bottom of 2 doors, rear window c pillar below vent, channel around boot, small cracks in paintwork show small amounts of exposure. *Panels are straight and undamaged. Trims and bits are all present and in some cases, spares are also included. Badging is intact and all lights and lenses are intact with NO cracks or fading. Both front and rear Windscreen are GC for RWC and the vehicle has been upgraded to electric windows on all 4 doors. *Paintwork and Vinyl roof are in Good condition. *Interior has been custom trimmed in White w/ Gold accents but would really benefit from a true custom leather re trim. The vehicle is currently not running however engine is GOOD and turns over and cranks nicely. The reason for the vehicle not running is as such: +The Dizzy was swapped from a MSD to an Original BOSCH electronic distributor. The dizzy is possibly out of alignment with the cam and timing is an issue. TDC was lost in the process of alteration and there is no distinct marking on the harmonic balancer. TDC and correct engine timing can be somewhat easily reestablished with some attention. +The Carby is the next issue. The vehicle is currently fitted with a Quadrajet 550 that was reconditioned entirely! After it was refitted, there was an incident, easier explained in a chat, that caused corrosion to cover, seize and restrict the Carby.
