This Mercury Cougar XR7 is a driver quality car and would be one of the rarer models in Australia. This coupe has had extensive mechanical work carried out on it over the last five years. The engine is a 400 cubic inch V8 and it purs like a big cat should. The transmission is the 3 speed select shift automatic. The carburetor and power steering box have been reconditioned. The engine has new plugs, leads, rotor button, distributor cap, water pump and air cleaner. New exhaust. The brake master cyliner has been replaced. The rear brakes have been replaced and the front brake discs have been machined and new pads fitted. New shock absorbers have been fitted front and rear. The car has new carpet throughout including the boot. New universal joints. Reupholstered dash pad. The seats are leather and the front buckets have had the centre inserts redone while the rear seats still require redoing as the leather is opening up.
