This car is a 1975 MP Lafer. (not a kit or replica car) Made in Brazil. 4300 were created and around 3000 still around today. This maybe the only one in Australia which makes it rare. Most were LHD but this is RHD. Production started in 1974 to 1990. All hand built. Full fiberglass body on a VW type 1 running gear. Do the research on Google. Had this car for 10 years. Did a lot of work on it. Revamped engine, new Tyres, customed interior, new front brakes, changed location of spare Tyre. I was going to do a respray and new roof but didn't get around to it. It's great to drive and always an eye catcher. old style driving. Parts are easy to get. ( Just Kampers ) is where I get parts from. It's a regretful sale but I rarely drive it anymore. Needs to go to someone who can finish what I started. Genuine people interested only. No Tyre kickers please. Have it on historical plates and insured through Shannons. Cheap.
