It was built in September 1979 which is when the first run of the XD ute came of the factory floor. It has been rebuilt and painted in Gentian blue(a ford colour). I have done the following to the ute; 5.8L 351 V8 Cleveland, totally rebuilt 4 years ago, mild cam, roller rockers Holley sniper EFI, and shaker. Twin thermal fans, 3 core heavy duty radiator, Holley smart distributer. 5 spd manual transmission, diff has been rebuilt. All shocks and bushes have been changed, converted to LED white headlights, new indicator lenses.15 inch old school 5 spoke BF Goodrich tyres. No rust, panels were replaced by a previous owner. All seats and door cards all wrapped in black leather with blue trim, new headliner and new carpet. Repainted in Gentian Blue, New tarp, and bed lined with poly urethane Black.
