Holden VK BROCK GpA LE Group 3 Bluey Tribute When GMH Australia released the VK, Peter Brock knew this was going to be his legacy as the ultimate all-round street car. With its unique Formula Blue paintwork and menacing stance, no other Australian built car is more noticeable amongst the flock. With all the hard work done to this outstanding example it would be a challenging task to find a better package. I have owned this VK Commodore for 13 years, it has had a ground up rebuild, 2-Pack respray. The body is in fantastic condition with zero rust. It has Brock LE Gp3 HDT spec bonnet scoop, rear boot spoiler, side skirts and door deflectors, rear bar extension and front air dam. A replica custom long range fuel tank has been prefabricated to BROCK specs. The exhaust tip has been custom fabricated to replicate the unique BROCK LE Gp3 exhaust. Trim is all new BROCK LE Gp3 replica with new 1 piece cerulean carpet, roof lining, sun visors, door cards, console, gear shifter and seats. The boot compartment has been trimmed as per genuine BROCK, air-conditioning, power steering and a sound system with hands free for that extra little bit of comfort. The motor is a fresh and very healthy 5.0 litre (308cid) which was rebuilt early 2010 with quality internals. Block was striped and hot tanked, decked and honed, factory dished pistons with speed pro rings, resized con rods, ACL cam bearings, big end & main bearings. New oil pump, double row timing chain, New performance lifters HT969R and a Crow Camshaft 5671(Hydraulic grind). The cylinder heads were reworked and reconditioned. They were crack and pressure tested, valve guides, seats cut & surface decked with a very healthy port job, to get the gasses flowing. Crow cams performance valve spring 4833, collets and retainers. Felpro performance gasket kit, match ported and modified intake manifold, Brand new modified HDT spec Quadrajet carby, Hi-flow air cleaner, HEI ignition system, new Coil, New fuel & water pump, reconditioned alternator, starter motor & H’duty radiator. A new battery and exhaust system to finish it off. M21 Manual transmission has had a good going over when it was rebuilt, with new gaskets, bearings, shafts, cluster gear and synchros as well as a new clutch and cable. The rear end is a Reconditioned factory Heavy duty 12 bolt disk brake Salisbury differential with a brand new Street & Strip LSD carrier and 3.55 Gears. All brakes (front, rear & hydraulics’) are as new. A Reconditioned power steering rack and pinion unit, pump and front end. Wheels are genuine HDT and the tyres are as new. This is a clean dry car with no oil leaks anywhere. Wheels are HDT period correct for this car with the correct decals.
