VK HDT GpA Replica with a twist! Twin Turbo Powered. Fully Engineered and compliant.. - ENGINE: LSX Block Stroked to 7.2L, built to handle 1500hp. Fitted with twin turbos and front mounted intercooler. Engine fitted with all OEM emission controls. H/D radiator fitted in original location with intercooler located forward of radiator, all located with approved fittings and hoses. Pressure relief valve fitted venting back to 'Pod' type air cleaner fitted in air box. Turbo fitted with external waste gate venting out replacement exhaust system. Turbos fitted with heat shields. Fuel cell located in boot area with one-way valve fitted to vent and all hoses (out and return) fitted with approved fittings and hoses. Twin fuel pumps located in boot area with approved fittings and hoses, all located and connected to C U unit via relay systems. This area has been covered in with protective covering. Battery also located in boot area in marine type battery carrier, vented and all located. Heater connected and vacuum line fitted to brake booster with one-way valving. Exhaust system fitted with catalytic mufflers, all located and meeting the requirements of ADR28a and ADR43 (ground clearance). Engine with all emission controls and charcoal canister meets ADR37 compliance. - TRANSMISSION: 2 Speed Powerglide with trans-brake / push reverse gear / 3800 stall converter. Custom tail shafts (2) replaced to suit gearbox output shaft new length and replacement rear axle drive yoke. After-market gear shift linkage fitted. - REAR AXLE ``Ford' 9 inch modified to suit rear track. Suspension system fitted with disc brakes. -BRAKES: Group one type disc braking system fitted to all four wheels. - 4 piston type on front with 380mm callipers, rotors and replacement brake hoses. Rear four piston callipers, rotors 330mm and brake hoses fitted with replacement hand brake cable to suit. Master cylinder replaced and brake booster all of later Holden vehicle.
