Original early VN Executive with 177000km (+/-). Car wasFIRST EDITION VN COMMODORE with the V6. 1988 build as per plate on firewall. engine no VH1008292 Body VN8VK19-114 Decreasing size of car collection. This VN Commodore in "Grandpa" spec ie wind up windows and in base trim with hubcaps is in collectable condition with very low mileage for a 30 year old car. We bought the car from its second owner who shedded the car rather than face the woeful trade in price some 15 years back, since then we found the car and performed a few maintenance items and put her away for another day, service list is below. The car has near new Bridgstone tyres including spare, is mechanically healthy and starts and drives very well. In fact the car is ready for the road apart from completing the head liner which has been removed due to drooping fabric,(the card is intact and included in sale). The interior is clean and shows minimal wear apart from a small wear /tear in drivers seat on upper bolster. This is the FIRST VN model built being 1988 production and has the discontinued "HOLDEN" bumper moulding for dealer display back then. As stated the car was mechanically checked over and shedded, not detailed etc. The car has not been got at by any teenagers, ie standard exhaust, wheels, interior. Only modification is the stereo (CD /radio) and rear shelf speakers. Happy to assist with loading to trailer at this end. You could drive the car home on a permit. Items that have been attended to: New Radiator Replaced Tie rod ends New coilpak (series2) New spark plugs Replaced Oil & Filter Replaced intake Manifold Gasket Reconditioned Injectors Replaced cat back exhaust New thermostat housing /thermostat /hoses /clamps New tail lights New headlight & parker globes New crank angle sensor New oxygen sensor of course there is still the roof lining and some trim to be attended to to in order to get this first edition VN back to its glory day. What a great base for an economical classic that can only appreciate.
