5.7 LITRE 355 STROKER
HSV GROUP A TWIN THROTTLE BODIES.
Details. Genuine VN Berlina 5 litre with full electrics (Electric windows, Mirrors, central locking and Alarm). Also has the dead locking door system. Colour is Rose Grey – It’s a very rare colour and was mainly used on the SV5000. Motor: Stroker 355 (Genuine original block) and added HSV VL Walkinshaw / HSV VN Group A twin throttle bodies. Motor cost $20,000.00. Has 338 KW out of motor.
Has a turbo 700 (4 speed) with a trick kit and a 3.5 grand TCE high stall converter and transmission cooler. Automatic cost over $2,500 + extras for the trans cooler and installation. Has Pacemaker extractors, and twin cat exhaust system. Over $2,000.00. Diff is a Ford 9 inch. Has brand new 4.11 diff gears with VN new disc brakes. Has 31 spline axles too. The diff is basically brand new, as I have personally spent around $3,000.00 recently because was faulty. Diff was originally purchased 2nd hand for $2,000.00 before being rebuilt.
Body was painted in 2 pac approx. 8 years ago at a cost of $8000.00. Resprayed door jams, engine bay and even inside the boot.
The car was striped down and we purchased every part brand new from Holden (while i could still get it) we replaced everything from; front and rear bumpers, rear garnish, front grill, head lights, tail lights, metal door handles, door and boot rubbers, badges, hubcaps, side mirrors, the lot!
I have receipts for over $3000.00 in brand new Holden genuine parts.
Interior is genuine immac VN Series 2 Calais in grey colour and in perfect condition. Has a shift light too and HSV VP steering wheel. Brakes on front are brand new and are the VX twin piston upgrade for better braking. Has new rear shockers, new front end, new rear sway bar + other under car items. Has a brand new VN Calais grille. I have also a brand new colour coded VN SS grille to still be fitted. Has new heater hoses. I have recently painted the fuel tank. It’s now in 2 pac silver with the tank support straps in 2 pac black. Gives it the drop tank look. It is an 80 litre fuel tank. Over $50,000 has been spent on this car. All work done properly and with no shortcuts.

If you haven't already worked out the subtle number plates; the car was a 165 kw V8 from factory hence the number plates. I didn't want this car to be a head turner, I wanted it to blend in with the average car.
This is a great, fast and reliable car and still beats the brand new HSV GTS and FPV GT's!!!
Drives great on the street and does not overheat. Great weekend car that you can hear coming.
