1995 ford falcon xg custom panel van

Wanting to SELL or SWAP my barra powered pride and joy. Been my daily driver for 4 years and I've spent weekends building it in to the perfect retro panelvan with all the luxuries of a newer vehicle. All the style of a custom XD panelvan, but drives like a BA falcon. This van is built on a 1995 XG longreach panelvan as a tribute to 1970s van culture, but with the reliability and comfort of a newer car. Fully engineered, registered and ready to be put to work. Unfortunately I needed a bigger van for work so I don't drive it enough anymore. It would be better in the hands of someone who would use it every day. The perfect work car. Absolute head turner, I can't even get a chiko roll without someone stopping me for a chat. - 1995 ford falcon panelvan, rego til April 2023 - FE LTD front end with ZK fairlane lights and guards, with LED indicators and chrome surrounds to suit the era. - 2005 BA falcon straight 6 N/A petrol Barra engine and automatic gearbox, hooked up to an XF/G column shift. Fully engineered. Heaps of power and good on fuel. - was originally a T5 floor shift manual, easy to convert back as the manual floor and pedal box are still there. Converted to auto to fit a bench seat. (Engineered now as a 3 seater) - Rear tailgate conversion from barn doors to lift gate - 14 inch Speedy Cragar style rims, 7s on the front and 8s on the rear with white letter tyres - Extractors with a full 2 inch stainless custom exhaust, sounds beautiful without being obnoxious - Customised CL valiant chrome rear bar and modified quarter panels to suit - XD mirrors with chrome trim - chrome XD door handles, modified to suit the XG mechanism - XC wagon roof rack - Spare wheel winch fitted under the car, with a winder to easily access the spare through the rear bar. (Spare is a 14x7 12 slotter) - XC tailgate handle and FORD badge for the retro look - Very clean Black vinyl and woodgrain custom interior. XD door cards with chrome XC window winders and chrome handles. - XF vinyl bench seat in excellent condition - Zh Fairlane steering wheel with woodgrain surround and cougar badge matching the hood ornament - 1970s pioneer cassette player in the dash for era correct look. - Modern pioneer head unit with USB, AUX and CD player, hidden in the console. Hooked up to 2 amps and a selection of kicker, sony and Kenwood speakers hidden in the front and fitted in brown vinyl panels through the back. - Fully insulated and carpeted rear with curtains and a custom made mattress to fit. Perfect for camping - Most suspension components have been replaced including front shocks and springs. Super nice to drive. - Brand new alternator and power steering pump - Serviced and COLD factory aircon - mounting point and plug for towbar - central locking - It was my daily and my work car so it's been kept in tip top shape and maintained. Always quality parts and labour, no cut corners. Barra swap was done properly by ProMech, tailgate conversion done really well by a great panelbeater with my help. Spent a lot of time sourcing the right parts to perfect every detail of this car. Only selling as it was built as a daily and should be driven as one. Would be open to swaps for an older panelvan or classic car as a project/weekender. The van is pretty good for rust. I've pulled most of it apart over the years and never found anything too nasty. I will point out anything I know about on inspection. Paint is decent for a work van but not show quality. Front end was professionally painted when fitted and blends well with the rest. Like any old car, It has some character, but its an awesome, reliable and honest car.
