The XC Falcon was the third and final update of the third generation Ford Falcon. The XC was produced for just shy of three short years between 1976-79 and was an instant success. The XC had to receive some major updates to meet new ADR requirements for both emissions and safety, including a new crossflow head with dropped compression ratios and a weight increase overall, however Ford still claimed a 10% increase on power for the new engine updates.
This XC Panelvan is fitted with the 250ci High Compression 6 cylinder engine. The car was factory finished in the Diamond White and although suffering from rust in the common areas (water channels, bonnet, lower areas) the car is pretty solid overall and with restoration would make a great base for a Sundowner replica or street build. The engine does turn over but has not been tested further.
