This Series III Ford Falcon AU XR8 rolled off the production line in February 2002 and is finished in stunning Narooma blue with a cloth interior in immaculate condition. Sold by Tony Leahey Ford in Orange NSW.Power comes from a very strong 5.0 litre, 220kW V8 Windsor engine that was hand built by Tickford which included GT40P cast iron crossflow heads, roller rockers, 70mm throttle body, EEC V engine management system, special cam shaft, switch-ported inlet manifolds, upgraded fuel pressure regulator, balanced engine internals, cold air intake. Each engine received its own unique plaque with the name of the Tickford technician who assembled it and this particular unit was built by a James Husband. This car has an automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, rear spoiler and has travelled only 149750 km over its 20 year life. The only modification I have made is a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust system in 409 stainless. The resulting exhaust note is fantastic. Just been fitted with new Goodyear eagle f1 tyres, new rooflining, new sway bar bushings. Also has tickford floor mats, dashmat and factory spare wheel from factory in boot, rare headlight factory xr headlight covers. Has log books and service history from new, including the original dealer brochure and recently passed roadworthy inspection. Has done very little driving last 10 years only traveling 15,000kms in that time. Always garaged. Located Peregian springs. Only selling as I need space in the garage now.
