The Holden HG was produced for only a short 12 months between July 1970 - July 1971 and would see in this time across the range over 150,000 produced. The mid-range Kingswood trim level was introduced in 1968 on the HK Holden, replacing the previous " Special " badge seen for many years prior, and would run until 1985 on the WB.
This complete, running and driving example of a HG Kingswood has been converted from a column shift manual to a floor shift manual with a QLD Mod plate for the conversion. Overall the Kingswood presents quite well and solid and has traveled an indicated 20,666 miles, although there are no books to confirm if it has or has not been around the clock over 99,999 miles. Although there are dents, scratches and surface rust, the HG only seems to have obvious rust in the lower boot corners, as seen in most of these cars. There are some small bubbles in the lower doors and areas but overall appears quite solid.
