Produced for only 12 months, the VK was a facelift of the VJ series and was the lowest production Valiant since the S-Series, with only 11,722 sedans, and a total number of 20,555 VK's ever produced. An unusual option now available was the "Fuel Pacer" option from the Chrysler US parts bin which detected low engine vacuum, such as under hard acceleration, and illuminated the driver side guardtop blinker repeater to indicate wasteful driving.
This heavily optioned VK Regal is a very rare find and was also factory fitted with the 318ci 5.2-litre V8 engine with the 2BBL Carb making this a desirable package. This VK Regal also was optioned with many rare and unusual options including the Fuel Pacer option. This car would be suitable for a full restoration or parts and appears to be mostly complete both inside and out. The car has suffered from significant rust throughout, particularly under the vinyl top, around the windows and in the floor. The engine unfortunately does not turn over and therefore the car has not been able to be tested.
