The most popular examples of collectable trucks and utes for sale in Australia include locally-made utilities from Ford, Holden, Chrysler, Austin and others, as well as American equivalents, like the Ford Ranchero and Chev El Camino.
Collectable trucks and utes available in Australia also includes American-made pickup trucks, both older and newer, covering Ford’s F-Series (F1, F-150, F-250, etc.), Chevrolet (Advance Design, Apache, C10, and newer S-10, LUV, Silverado models, etc.) and Dodge/RAM pickups that are popular with enthusiasts.

Some trayback versions of the Land Rover Defender and older Japanese-made utes, eg. Subaru Brumby, Toyota Crown and Stout, Datsun 1200, Mazda B1500 - and even the Suzuki Mighty Boy - are also sought after by enthusiasts, making them suitable for this category.
Newer pickups from Japanese manufacturers - made for the US market but unavailable in Australia through branded dealerships – are also regarded as collectable in Australia. Examples of these include the Nissan Titan, Honda Ridgeline and Toyota Tundra, but not commonly-available newer Japanese utes, like the Toyota HiLux, Mazda BT-50, etc., that are already available in volume in Australia.
Performance American pickups from Ford and Chevrolet can also be found for sale in Australia and are suitable for this category, but for a “local” alternative with similar credentials, there’s the Ford Ranger Raptor and HSV’s Colorado SportsCat. Both of these Australian-market models are also suitable for this category, but other special edition and limited production utes that have been released to the Australian market will only be listed at JUST CARS’ discretion.
Selected classic and collectable trayback light trucks may be suitable (listed at JUST CARS’ discretion) but more recent and/or commonly-available tray trucks, like Hino, UD and Mitsubishi light trucks, for example, are not suitable, nor are heavy rigid trucks or prime movers.
Listing of ANY Truck or Ute is subject to JUST CARS’ discretion.
All vehicles submitted for this category MUST be in complete or near complete condition, even if disassembled, to be suitable for listing. Groups of random parts and vehicles regarded as being beyond near-complete condition will not be listed.
