100 Years of Alvis -2019 Motorclassica
Alvis stared making cars in 1919 and earned a reputation for their sporting models in the 1920s. After their factory was bombed in World War II, Alvis emerged as an alternative luxury brand, in a similar vein to Bristol.
Post-war ‘T Series’ models included the TA 14, TA 21, TD 21 and TF 21, which was the ‘last of the line’. Car production ended in 1967, Alvis focusing on military vehicles thereafter. However, small numbers of reproduction Alvis cars have since been produced.
