Deox-C - Rust removal made easy & safe

Deox-C permanently removes rust on any steel, stainless steel and most ferrous materials. Deox-C is a crystalline, 100% active corrosion removal product formulated for the removal of corrosion from steel, stainless steel and most ferrous materials. This product when dissolved in tap water produces a bath of powerful rust removing liquid. Deox-C will remove very heavy corrosion, but is safe to use on even the most delicate items. It is suitable for any object that can be completely immersed. It is harmless (to anything other than rust), non toxic and biodegradable. Deox-C avoids having to grind, sand or blast which often results in damaging the surrounding corroded areas. The risk of grit inclusion is eliminated allowing for a better finish. Use of Deox-C eliminates the risk of distortion to thin steel sections and is a liquid so it penetrates into any delicate crevices and flows to remove corrosion completely - even on intricate parts.

This is a harmless non-toxic and biodegradable that produces a microscopically clean bare metal finish (even better than a blast cleaned surface). It is harmless to glass, plastics, aluminium and chrome. Deox-C works on internal surfaces of hollow objects and structures and frees rust frozen parts, without the need for heat - will not anneal heat-treated components. The Sydney Heritage Fleet's collection of small marine engines is the most extensive in Australia. and the Fleet's small engine restoration team probably have more experience of restoring heavily corroded engines than any one else in Australia. Wallie Brown from the Sydney Heritage Fleet used Deox-C to remove rust between the cylinder outer wall diameter 230mm and inner sleeve of 130mm, height 300mm - a difficult place to get to. They found that over 4 weeks the concentrate removed a rust equivalent of 3/4 of a litre of rust. What this means for the "Beecraft" engine circa 1920, manufactured in Mosman, is that it will now run again. Mr Brown says "Deox C is the best rust remover we have ever found".
