Hardtop Anniversary 2009 - September 18-20

This will be a two day extravaganza for Ford coupe owners and coupe lovers in general, or as the FCCA call it - "Coupetopia"!

The event will take place in Echuca and Shepparton this September 18th to 20th, and is open to all Ford Hardtops manufactured between 1972 to 1979. This encompasses all variations of XA, XB, XC and Landau Coupes. Last time round the event had approximately 78 coupes participating. This year, organisers are hoping to "Top the Ton", which should make for quite a sight when the big Ford coupes cruise through town. In 2007, the people of Echuca enthusiastically embraced this event and made all entrants and attendees feel very welcome.

For this Hardtop Anniversary, things will run a little differently from 2007, but the overall theme - Coupes and their owners gathering to pay homage to the legendary Australian muscle cars - will remain the same. Driver skill events at the DECA training facility in Shepparton were a highlight last time and will be part of this year's event, but are strictly limited to Anniversary entrants only.

Event entries close July 31st, and are already rolling in thick and fast, so interested XA, XB & XC coupe owners are advised to get their entry in soon!

Special guest from the 2007 Anniversary, Murray Carter, will be returning for 2009, with a surprise guest to be announced.
